DOWNHILL

Old Man Winter is starting to make his presence felt, and it sucks big, fat nuts. I hate the winter, primarily because I can't be out there as much. It's especially bad when it snows coz I can't drive around. Well, I could, at my own peril - the car's [performance] wet/dry tires have zero grip on snow; they're virtual skates. At least it doesn't snow much in VA.

Snow aside, there are other winter-specific issues that make it even worse. Check out my throwback post; you'll see what I mean.

Have a great weekend y'all.

that post was superb. static, luckily is a very little problem here, i still get zapped on occasion though, mostly in the evenings when i get home and open the car door to get out, i can actually see a bright flash before the pain checks in.

oh, and do go skating in the car, watch out for moving lamposts and bus shelters...not so much fun to collide with.

Ha ha! Moving lamposts? Believe you me, I know what you mean. Some winters ago my cuz & I were drifting around in a snow-covered parking lot and one post almost hit us!

Yeah, I've heard horror stories about Minnesota.
Yup, here too people get their panties in a bunch when it so much as flurries - school and work closings galore!
