DONE WITH THE LAST ONE, ON TO THE NEXT

Many men, over here stateside anyway, seem to be bitten by some bug the minute they hit 30 years old - the marriage bug. I don't understand it.

It seems like they'd do anything to get married, and would get married to anyone. I've heard horrific stories of they, being turned down by their current female friends, turning right around and marrying the first woman who says yes. Strange but true.

But you know what, I'm not mad at them. If they want to get married that badly, so be it. My only concern is that they don't realize the enormity of the task that is marriage, not to mention the kids that usually come in quick succession.

I'd thought only men suffered from the marriage bug, either that or women don't publicize it, but this here [link below] is on a whole 'nother level. It might be a prank, but it's still entertaining nonetheless.
Check it out.

Ati "temple-worthiness" LOLEST

You haven't heard of the biological clock for girls? It's way worse than it is for guys. Ours starts ticking at age 28 and by age 30 it's like a timapni drumroll...hence the jeep *grin*

Nicely put - the drumroll.

And yeah, that temple-worthiness line got me too. Seems like she's not BS-ing about her sense of humor after all!

I used to think that men didn't have a ticking biological clock.
About that ad-no words but the comments there are too funny.

Yup, some of those comments had me rolling. People got jokes.

Apparently we do have a biological clock of sorts. I seem to have misplaced mine though. lol!

I think the rush is everywhere must be the age thing. Most of my weekends are being spent in nguarios, baby showers, bridal showers and weddings. I would blame it on peer pressure as for me am not in a rush, Que sera sera.

>KK: Slow day, huh? I feel you; Mondays suck.
Yeah, marriage in a strange animal, maybe akin to, say, stepping through a vortex into an unknown dimension.

>Gish: Yup, there needn't be a rush to jump the broom, as irreversible as it might prove to be. These days, of course, marriage almost seems to be contractual, usually not longer than 5 years.
