BATSH*T

I don't know why it's so much fun scaring the living daylights out of your passenger while driving. Of course, you have to know what you're doing otherwise you and the immediate terrain will get really acquainted.

A few weeks ago I was the [un]fortunate passenger in my boy V^6's turbo-ed Vee-Dub GTI, now equipped with launch control, and I'll tell you what - I was scared sh*tless. Words aren't enough to explain what it's like to experience the GTI at full gallop. It's kinda like being punched in the guts, then being steamrolled over. Or, in the eloquent words of Motortrend magazine, being kicked in the ass a spit-second before being shot from a cannon. Un-f*cking-believable.

Case in point: Jason Plato is a British Touring Car veteran as well as the co-host of Fifth Gear, right alongside the sometimes over-enthusiastic-over-cars Tiff Needell. Jason is a wizard behind the wheel [see proof here] but Tiff, his co-host, is downright nuts. So bonkers is he, in fact, that he scares the hell out of Mr. Plato. Granted, Tiff's driving the new 911 Turbo, capable of doing 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. To put things in perspective, your Corolla will do that in 9 seconds. Are you beginning to understand just how insanely fast this new Porsche is? See Plato's reaction for yourself, here. Hilarious.

Mr. Nikolas, I'm officially green with envy. Legacy GT?! I've had several lucid dreams about that monster for years now!

It's official: Next time I'm in the area I'll borrow bro-man's Forrester, ring you up, and it will be on!

|d®| oh it is on like my shirt. wait its off now but you get the idea.

Bring it, that should be fun, rarely do i find anyone capable of keeping up, it tends to be a bit wieldy round corners because of its excessive tare weight but the AWD helps heaps to slide it through nicely. one side effect needs lots of space to maneuver. its big and long, well, wagons tend to be that.

Wagons are where it's at! I remember one of my favorite Subie race wagons here had a sticker on the back that read:
"You've just been passed by a wagon." Love it. Needless to say, it was a Legacy GT too.

I think you're a good dude to know coz when I come back home, I'll be sure to get a Mitsu Evo. Saving up for it already. Subie-Mitsu war, anyone?

Hahaha, I'm usually the passenger who incites: "C'mon dude, this hunk'a'junk can go faster!!" Then getting scared shitless when it does and minutes later screaming out something like: "You deranged speed freak! Are you trying to kill me?!!! Slow the fuck down!"

And having once or twice being one of Nik's passengers I can assure you I'd quite like to see you two in a race. (Not as a passenger in either car though!!)

:D
